WWII Italian Fascist Combat Helmet with C590-10. Original WWII Italian Fascist Combat Helmet with Liner and Partial Chinstrap. This is a very nice example of this classic combat helmet with an undented steel helmet shell retaining almost all of its original olive drab combat paint finish. The original leather liner is present and still supple, but shows some age with an edge chip spot on the liner leather and a few small splits on the leather "fingers". This helmet comes with a partial original chinstrap...$120. Original Nazi M42 Combat Helmet Shell 986-10. Original Nazi M42 Combat Helmet Shell (post-war Norwegian re-issue varient?). This is an outstanding original M42 combat helmet shell with no significant dents, dings or rust. This steel shell appears to have been repainted in recent times in a dark OD green combat paint finish (there is some scratching and abrasion to the paint finish). The helmet comes with a fine leather liner that appears to be original, but I'm not absolutely sure. The liner is size marked "56" in ink. The three liner rivets may be modern replacements. The helmet shell is stamped on the skirt with the numerals "3078". The chinstrap rectangular metal loops are both present...$175.
Rare WWII British-Made German-Style Helmet C479-10. Original Rare WWII British-Made German-Style Helmet for Training Purposes. According to the consignor, this rare steel helmet came from the collection of renowned helmet collector Dave Powers. A note attached to the helmet states that this is a "British made German style helmet" which had seen "alleged use by M.I.9 (Mil. Intel.) and S.O.E. (Sp. Operations Exec.) for agent training." The note also states that this helmet had a "4-pad black oilcloth suspension similar to the British MKII liner" (remnants of the black oilcloth material remain). A padded OD cloth liner band is present along with the two metal rectangular chinstrap connectors (no chinstrap is present). About 87% of the black paint finish is present. This unusual and rare helmet features the German M35-style rolled edge, but differs from the M35 in that there are no grommets present on the vent holes. The consignor states he obtained this helmet from Dave Powers in 1997. This is truly a rare and desirable helmet for the WWII helmet collector...$317.

Very desirable original example with the distinctive metal hanging loop on the apron rear. Undented helmet shell retains over 90% of the original dark green combat paint finish (someone has marked the right side of the helmet with a black "SS" runes that appears to be a post-war marking). Nicely marked inside the helmet neck apron with various letters and numerals...$253.

Original supple heavy brown leather chinstrap. A Bulgarian soldier's name is inked on the liner and on chinstrap...$48.
