Cord tie is present on cap back. Nice black stamped issue markings inside cap. This cap variation has no ventilation holes and appears to never have had the "anchor" insignia patch on front...$195.

C570-20. Original Imperial Japanese Navy White (Dyed) Field Cap. Very fine example of the typical Navy white field cap that once had an anchor patch sewn on the front (patch is not present, but faint traces of its presence remain). This cap appears to have been dyed, perhaps with tea. It is a later war cap in that the label is stamped inside. Two sewn-in vent holes on each side of cap. Sewn-on chinstrap. This medal was awarded to commemorate the building of a Shinto shrine in Manchukuo in 1940...$180.

C517-20. Original "Manchukuo" National Foundation Merit Medal with Case. Outstanding original medal of black-lacquered bronze with raised silver characters on medal obverse. This medal was established in 1933 and was awarded for service in establishing the new nation of "Manchukuo" which was a puppet state of Japan. Extremely fine ribbon shows light soiling but no significant wear. Extremely fine hard black hinged fitted case with the medal's title in gold lettering on cover...$200.
