Vintage Wade & Butcher Survival Knife
with USAF Officer's "Personalized" Sheath

958-23. Original Vintage Wade & Butcher Survival Knife with USAF Officer's "Personalized" Leather Sheath. Outstanding historical survival / fighting knife with the sheath named to a U.S. 1st Lieutenant (worthy of further research). This very fine knife bears the maker's marking "WADE & BUTCHER SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" on the ricasso, along with interesting proof marks. The blade itself bears the inscribed model name "Pioneer". Lovely stacked leather washer grip handle and heavy aluminum pommel with brass recessed end nut. Very fine polished light brown leather sheath with closing strap having metal snap marked "MARBLE GLADSTONE MICH." The sheath bears the inked name "LT. Frank Folsom" with service number "O-815300", along with his initials "F.I.F." and "USAF". Further research should be done on this item's original owner...$115.

Medal for WWI Veterans

960-23. Original Vintage 1919 Hutchinson, MN Citizen's Medal for WWI Veterans. Scarce nicely detailed bronze medal with bronze suspension bar and red/white/blue ribbon. Pin back on suspension bar. This civic medal was presented on August 19, 1919 by the citizens of Hutchinson, MN to returning WWI veterans for their "patriotism and loyalty". The larger heavy medal disk measures about 1 3/8" in diameter. The ribbon shows some age and wear but is still sound...$35.

996-23. Original WWII U.S. Army Expert Shooting Badge with Two Qualification Bars. This is an outstanding original WWII shooting badge with the wreathed badge featuring the earlier horizontal pin back. Suspended from the badge are two qualification bars, one for very desirable SUBMACHINE GUN and the other for CARBINE. Both the badge and one bar are marked "STERLING". Your chance to own a real STERLING SILVER piece of WWII history...$20.

Ribbon with GAR Suspension Bar

911-23. Original 1890 "Seventh Encampment"at Camp Custer Ribbon with GAR Suspension Bar. Scarcer original 1890-dated ribbon for the seventh annual encampment of the "Soldiers & Sailors Association of Central Mich." with bronze GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) ribbon suspension bar. This encampment was held at Camp Custer in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on September 2-5, 1890. Slight fraying at bottom edge of ribbon. Bronze bar has a pin back with the ribbon hand-stitched to the bar (some stitching has come loose). The ribbon with bar measures about 6" high...$35.

910-23. Original Vintage U.S. Military "Sharpshooter" Qualification Badge. Outstanding original silver badge (appears to be real silver, but the badge is unmarked so I'm not sure) with horizontal pin back. I believe this is an earlier vintage badge, but otherwise I don't know much about it...$30.

909-23. Original Vintage U.S. Army Officer's Rank Badge Insignia. Two outstanding original vintage rank badges - the silver insignia for Lieutenant Colonel, and the gold-finished insignia for Major. Both are pin back, with the silver one bearing the desirable "Luxenberg, New York" maker's marking along with the word "STERLING"...$35 pair.
