Original WWI German Model 1917 Lederschutzmaske Gas Mask with Can, Extra Eye Lenses and Strap
This is a very scarce complete WWI German Model 1917 "Lederschutzmaske" (leather protection mask) military gas mask set. The gas mask itself features a treated leather body, excellent amber eye lenses within metal eyepiece frames, a screw-on filter dated "März 18" (March 1918) with other markings, and cloth-covered elastic head straps. The gas mask fits within the original OD metal canister with locking hinged cover and OD web cloth strap. The canister interior features a circular paper information piece, and extra eye lenses wrapped in the original titled cellophane wrappers in a metal lens holder within the canister. Item #0722-7
Original Nazi Wehrmacht "Windschutzbrille" Goggles in Issue Box with Extra Lenses
This is an outstanding set consisting of near excellent goggles with unchipped and uncracked clear glass lenses mounted within OD painted metal eyepiece frames with rubber eye cushions. These goggles feature an adjustable elastic headband with metal buckle. The set also comes with two extra pairs of excellent glass lenses (one clear set and one amber set) in their original felt cloth sleeves. A white cleaning cloth that bears the maker's name "Georg Vogler" of Nürnberg also comes with this set. All these items are housed in the original issue cardboard box which has some edge separations (easily repaired). Finally, this set comes with a modern copy of the original WWII G.I.'s "capture paper" listing "2 goggles" as "captured enemy military equipment" that allowed the G.I. to bring them home as a war "trophy". Item #0426-17
Original Nazi Army Officer's Lionhead Sword with Siegfried Maker's Logo and All-Brass Hilt
This is a nice original example of an earlier Army officer's sword with an all-brass hilt. The lion's head pommel displays very fine detail with hand-done engraved enhancements and two ruby-red glass eyes. The black enameled grip has tight triple brass wire grip wrap. There are a few small chips to the grip enamel. The crossguard features the spread-winged eagle/swastika. The backstrap, knuckleguard and ferrule all have raised oakleaf designs. The polished nickel-plated 34" steel blade features the distinctive and desirable Siegfried logo for E. Pack u. Sohne on the ricasso. The original leather blade washer is present. The blade has scattered small spots, and has some cigarette smoke dulling to the finish which can be cleaned off. The blade edge has some small dings. The steel scabbard retains most of its original black paint finish with some light surface rust spots. The scabbard has two obvious "door dents" which often happened when the scabbard was caught by the officer closing a car door on it. Both original scabbard throat screws are present. Item #0128-2

This is an original set consisting of a fine supple leather belt with hand stitched-on sizing strap and brass buckle catch. The belt is dated "1915" and has one small circular hole where a badge might have been mounted. The belt measures about 39 1/4" long and is sized-marked "95". The belt buckle is smooth brass with a nickel center roundel having the Imperial crown and "GOTT MIT UNS" motto. The buckle still has its original leather tab attached. Item #0626-3

Original Large Nazi Kriegsmarine-Marked Battle Flag with Halyard Rope Loops
This is an outstanding original larger battle flag that measures about 57" x 100" and has nice bright colors and heavy halyard rope loops plus an extra separate rope section that comes with the flag. This extremely fine flag has reinforcement patches machine-sewn next to corners of the white cloth halyard sleeve. The halyard sleeve is machine-sewn onto the flag. There are some small scattered moth holes and a small white paint stain, otherwise the flag is near excellent. The halyard sleeve bears the stamped black "eagle-over-M" Kriegsmarine issue marking along with "Reichskriegsflg.", size marking "150x250" and maker's marking "Plutzar & Brüll K.G.,Bielitz O/S". Original pre-1945 Saarburg Helmet Plate
This is an original older pre-1945 convex stamped nickel helmet plate for some type of helmet (perhaps fireman's). This very fine plate measures about 2 3/4" high and has all four brass mounting tabs still present. Otherwise, I don't know much about this item except that it came with a pile of original WWII German items. Item #0922-13
