Original Nazi Heavy Iron “Swastika” Desk Ornament

This is an excellent heavy iron desk ornament, hand crafted in Germany during the late 1930’s. This two piece ornament is held together by a bottom screw. The ornament with heavy steel base measures about 3 1/4” high.  I’ve heard that such items as this DAF desk ornament were made as individual labor corps projects by DAF members. This desk ornament was given to the seller’s father by an old gentleman from Germany in the late 1980’s. The old gentleman didn’t want his family to find this item when he passed.  Item #0524-1

Original Nazi-Issued Czech VZ-24 Bayonet with “RB Nr.” Marked Leather Frog

This is a scarce, unmodified Nazi-issued VZ-24 bayonet featuring a WaA603 marking on the bayonet blade and a WaA63 marking on the scabbard. This bayonet still has its muzzle ring and remains unaltered by the Germans. The blued steel blade measures about 11 1/3" and rates near excellent. The bayonet bears a Czech proof mark on the ricasso. The wooden grip panels are in very fine plus condition, with no significant chips or cracks. The undented blued steel scabbard has surface rust freckling. The black leather frog is German manufactured and bears a faint Nazi “RB Nr.” issue marking, showing some wear on the cross strap. Original Nazi Hitler Youth Knife by W.K.C.

This is a near-excellent Hitler Youth knife except that it has a broken cross guard bottom that has snapped off. The blade is in near-excellent condition with prominent crossgraining present and no signs of sharpening or edge dings. The RZM maker's code, M7/42 1939, is centered on the blade and indicates the maker as W.K.C. (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co. Waffenfabrik, Solingen-Wald). The original leather blade washer is present. Both black checkered grip panels are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. The HJ enameled grip insignia and the nickel-plated grip fittings are also in excellent condition. The steel scabbard retains nearly 100% of its original glossy black paint finish, with no dents. The black leather belt loop and "snap" strap show some surface wear. Item #0521-1
